The Field Service Technician will be responsible for mainly on-site service activities, including, but not limited to, preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and installations, and maintaining the hardware installed base.
The Field Service Technician needs to plan and coordinate all on-site service activities and perform related service activities. Additional Quality activities and support to our field colleagues will be part of the responsibility for this role. This position is a hands-on, stand-alone, on-site position, meaning most of the time performing technical service work on our hardware will be done at customer sites.

Main responsibilities:
• Managing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and upgrade activities to client’s hardware installed base mainly at customer sites
• Accomplishing documentation and reporting (Service Reports, protocols, and CRM Microsoft Dynamics)
• Conducting complaint analysis, documentation, and reporting
• Maintaining technical history device records
• Performing Quality Control activities
• Supporting Sales and Product specialists
• Acting as backup for Service Technician, located at client’s European Service Center (Waalwijk, the Netherlands).
• Conducting activities on-site at customer locations will be up to 60-80% of the time
• Supporting customers in Germany, BENELUX, and France
• Supporting EU Distributors in other countries

Main requirements:
• Education at MBO level or equivalent
• Significant experience in technical (field) servicing within a medical device/medical technology environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required; German communication skills is highly advantageous, and French communication skills is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and capacity to work successfully in a team environment.
• Strong capability in being customer-oriented
• Ability to adapt to internal systems; Experience in CRM Microsoft Dynamics Field Service management is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely
• Ability to report to client’s Service Center Europe in Waalwijk, The Netherlands as needed.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
